Post 6 in conjunction with Posts 24 and 4, will hold a presentation ceremony on Thursday 23/May/24 at 2pm in Sarsfield Barracks.

This is to mark the 60th anniversary of the ending of the Irish participation in UN led mission (ONUC) in the Republic of Congo, 1960 to 1964.

At this moment, we are expecting between 60 and 70 Veterans to be presented with Certificates.

IMG-20240303-WA0001_1jpgIUNVA are going to switch to a metal badge on their berets, following on from complaints that the cloth badge at €15 was on the high side, for members who are in need of changing their berets on a regular basis, following constant use.

The New badge will cost around €7.50 and will be decided on which shape we purchase at the next Delegate meeting.
